We are all valuable, made in God's image

This book surprised me; definitely not your typical 1920s themed novel. I love that the main characters are not perfect, have hardships, yet remain hopeful. There is a theme of some thinking they are better than others, not only because of money, but breeding. Written in an engaging style and showing viewpoints on both sides. There are a few surprises and I love how characters are woven together. The repairing of family relationships is wonderful.
