Not the first in the series, but no # on the cover

This is obviously not the first in the series and took me 150 pages to get interested. I'm sure it would have been better to have the knowledge of the characters from their other adventure. This mystery was rather fantastical and I found the heroine annoyingly childish. She did grow on me and the 2nd half of the book was better. There is mention of prayer and relying on God and growth. It was also nice to read of a couple already married instead of them finding romance amongst the danger. I'd suggest finding out all the titles in the series and reading them in order of publication date.
