What a fantastic storybook! It's so beautiful, faithful and completely different to anything I've seen before.
I love the idea of following the theme of kingship through the Old and New Testaments. It's a lovely, subtle way to teach kids biblical theological skills and to show them that the whole bible is one story about Jesus, God's King.
The stories in this book have been so expertly chosen and woven together to show the beauty of Jesus' everlasting kingdom. Not every familiar story is told, but there are many that kids will be less familiar with too! Bob Hartman is an expert at bringing God's word to children in an accessible and engaging way.
I haven't read it with my kids yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. I just know that they're going to love it!
