I could not put this book down. I'm a huge fan of the show Fixer Upper, and Chip and Joanna Gaines. This is their story of meeting, starting their businesses and a family. It's hilarious- the things Chip gets up to. It's very inspiring, motivating, and sweet. Tells about flipping houses, being an entrepreneur, juggling family and work life, faith. They're a great example of a healthy, Christian marriage. I enjoyed it so much that I read it to my teens. They loved it, too. I will read this again and again.

Great Read
If there is one thing that I've learned over the years it's that everyone has their own path to take, God has a specific purpose and path for each one of us. This book is a snippet of Chip and Joanna's life and gives me insight into who they are even though I've never see their tv show. The thing that I love about this book is that it is real, doesn't shy away from the hard as well as the good. They don't pretend to be anyone other than they are. I loved seeing the underlying theme of how no matter what project they took on, they attempted to look for and listen for God's guidance. They share lessons they have learned and they share where God has gone ahead and provided for their needs before they even knew they needed it. This is why I love reading biographies- they are testimonies of a path that people are on, a story shared, a lesson learnt, and something which makes me reflect on my own life and what God has brought me through.

Inspirational reading
This was a surprise and a delight to read. Chip and Joanna Gaines share their story with humour, humility and honesty. You follow them on all their adventures high on success and low in the vale of what now but through it all they have each other their faith and along the way their babies. Who knew success was such a long road. One of the take away comments for me was own the moment your in, see the good in it!

Opposites Attract
You couldn't find two people so different than Chip and Joanna. Chip is the """"Go Getter"""" and """"Risk Taker"""". Joanna is more cautious and responsible. Yet God can take two opposites and make something really beautiful for His Glory. I love Chip and Joanna's honesty - they just tell it like it is. It gives hope for all of us who see ourselves less than perfect with all our faults. It paints a beautiful picture for those of us who are married and how God can take all our challenges, struggles and differences and weave them into a wonderful masterpiece that we could never imagine. This book is an inspiration and encouragement for marriage couples and business owners alike.

Ordinary people with ordinary life, extraordinary talent, hardwork and God.
This book shares about love story, life journey, relationship with God, challenges in life and joy in life. Every single page in this book has encouraged me personally to be persistent, to trust God, to work hard and enjoy life. Chip and Joanna Gaines are ordinary people who are passionate about what they do, working hard and trusting God. It is worth reading it. You will laugh, smile and keep reading it cover to cover =)
