The Mineral Book (Wonders Of Creation Series)

I bought this for my 8 year old son who's developed an interest in geology and minerals. He loves it! In a few weeks, he's nearly read it cover to cover and often comes to tell me fascinating facts he's learned along the way. As the previous review states, it's a great homeschool resource with a Biblical/Creationist worldview.

A beautifully illustrated science book that has information for children from primary through to secondary school. It covers a wide range of interesting things about minerals, always from a biblical perspective. There are also chapters about jewels mentioned in the bible, including the breastplate worn by the priests etc. I found it fascinating, and a great resource especially if homeschooling.
