I had never heard of Perpetua before and really knew nothing about her and while watching this DVD with my 6 year old son I learnt so much and was greatly inspired and gained a greater understanding of the life and times of this courageous lady and how she faced persecution and fear and stood strong in her faith and the miracles that followed her and those like her. \\r\\n\\r\\nThis DVD is great for children aged 8-12 and even younger and would be great for use at home or in a School or Sunday School. \\r\\n\\r\\nI use it as a part of my sons home schooling and Christian education.

This is a great series for introducing your children to heroes of the faith. Perpetua had the opportunity to actually record her story before martyrdom, and to have a prison guard continue the account once she'd entered the arena. It's a story of counting the cost of following Jesus, of having faith under fire and trusting in the One who gives us true Life. \\r\\nWe've had these DVD's for years, and they've been watched over and over by our children!
