Then Sings My Soul: Rediscovering God's Purposes For Singing in Church$19.99
I found this a great read both personally and for those on our music team. Journey's simply through a number of key passages and helps provide solid biblical foundations which can bring unity to the criteria and values which guide selection and priorities within a worship or music ministry.

Amazing read!
This book was incredibly challenging for anyone who sings in church, whether as a song leader or as a member of the congregation. Philip Percival sheds a new light on the great importance and value of singing in church and delves deeply into God's word to do it. I loved that it was not a book of personal musings, but an unpacking of scripture on the topic of singing, and Percival was deeply insightful in this regard. Everyone should read this book to truly understand the meaning of singing in church. An absolute must read!

Everyone in your church should read this
Philip Percival's years of experience in church music has infected the pages of this book through robust discussion about why we sing at church, how church music should happen, what kind of song content should be sung, and who we sing to at church. I recommend this book to all Christians, as each one of us should have a Biblically grounded understanding of singing in church.
