Love it!
I've loved learning about all the hymns, their composers and the stories behind them (in the rest of this series) so was so excited to discover a Christmas edition too. On every page is the music and lyrics to a Christmas song alongside the story behind it/devotional based on it. Incredible reading and beautifully set out. Perfect for gifting or personal devotions. Highly recommend to anyone who loves hymns and the stories behind them! So good.

Hymn stories
I really enjoyed this book, it is my favourite selection of the then sings my soul books, with a great range of songs. It is separated in to Christmas, Easter, thanksgiving, American patriotic and then other favourite hymns. Each open spread has the sheet music and lyrics on one side and a one page story about the song. I use this book for hymn study with my children, and it's a great resource. It would also make a nice Christmas or Easter gift for an adult, or is just an interest way to discover some recent church history through the stories of our favourite hymns.
