An important skill in the journey from adolescence to adulthood is being able to recognize and manage feelings. *Today I Feel Like a Jelly Donut* introduces young children to ten of the most common emotions, likening each to a familiar food item. Little ones will learn biblically sound ways to handle their feelings and start to build strong self-management habits.

Whether they are excited like popcorn, sad like an onion, or so nervous they could crack like an egg, this creative book gives little ones a fun and easy way to visualize and understand their emotions. Children will discover that no matter the mood, no matter the food, God loves them just the way they are!

    Fun book!

My 2 year old loves this book. It’s a creative way to introduce emotions to kids and a way that also includes God in the conversation.

A wonderful book about emotions and shares truths about God

This book is wonderful, my 2 and 6 year olds love it. It's hilarious in that the author links our emotions with food. And what I appreciate the most is that it doesn't just introduce children to different emotions they might feel, but it shares truth about God in each feeling. Eg. when we're frustrated, God hears our prayers. When we're happy, it's God who gives us joy. Highly recommend it :)
