    Must-read for church members

Highly rate! Very well goes into the biblical practice of 'koinonia' which in today would mean 'fellowship'. Challenges you to think about how you intentionally practice 'fellowship' with others.

    Thoughtful and Complete

Jerry's treatment of community is wonderful. Written in his typically reflective, but straight-to-the-point manner, I found this book one of the more accessible ones on the topic. Other I have read were EXCELLENT, but riddled with academia to the point of becoming nearly fruitless for laity. The book builds a very strong biblical foundation and has challenged the way I live. While the standard and expectations of a believer are quite high and clear in this regard, Jerry makes me WANT it, even when my poor effort and lifestyle thus far has been a source of remorse. Highly recommended!
