Jesus Warned the World Would Hate Christians
“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you” (John 15:18).

As cultural hostility toward Christianity intensifies, many Christians have grown more reluctant to advocate for biblical values in the public square. But our perseverance for the common good—a good defined by God alone—is more important than ever in a culture that embraces darkness.

*When Culture Hates You* is a call for Christians to unashamedly pursue righteousness in society out of our love for others. In this timely resource, author Natasha Crain will help you:

- Make sense of cultural hostility by better understanding the roots of secular outrage on issues like Christian nationalism, social justice, abortion, transgenderism, and sexuality
- Advocate for the godly functioning of society with greater biblical, cultural, and civic understanding
- Take concrete action for the common good with more than 35 practical ideas to get you started

As Christians, our calling is to speak truth in the face of hostility—not because we want to “war” with culture but because we love both God and others.

About the Author

Natasha Crain is a speaker, podcaster, and author of five books who equips Christians to think more clearly about holding to a biblical worldview in an increasingly challenging secular culture. A Timely Call to Courage

In ‘When Culture Hates You’, Natasha Crain uses her trademark clarity to unpack the real reason that Biblical Christians are facing opposition in the public square - it’s all about worldview. The secular worldview (which can also be read about in Natasha’s previous work, ‘Faithfully Different’,) is fundamentally at odds with the Biblical worldview held by Christians, who acknowledge an objective standard of universal good that comes from God Himself. Natasha explains how He is the very definition of good and Christians should advocate for this good in the public square, for the flourishing and benefit of all people. Rather than causing Christians to eschew political involvement, this should encourage them to exercise their right to speak into and influence policies to see this come to pass.

Natasha works through a number of timely issues that have only recently been politicised, but are fundamentally issues of morality, and looks at how Christians can be involved to advocate for the ultimate good. ‘When Culture Hates You’ is a timely call to action and courage for Christians and Churches who, for various reasons, may have been silent on these issues.

Natasha’s book is not just timely, but a great help in understanding how things got to where they are, and how we, as ministers of Christ, can bring His light into a dark generation.
