We have used three of these Beginning with God books now and they work so well for us. The kids love the sticker that they get to put in the book each day, and we parents like the routine of 'pray, read, questions, pray' that this handy book has got us into. Occasionally we feel that the application points aren't very Jesus-centred, but on the whole we think this is a great resource that helps parents to read the Bible with their children.

Great help for parents
Using the Beginning with God books has been a great help for my wife and I in reading the Bible with our 4 year old. The book provides excellent guidance for parents in how to use the material and it has given us a good routine to follow for our nightly Bible reading times. \\r\\n\\r\\nWe have sometimes had to add our own questions or discussion to what the book suggests in order to get to how each story relates to Jesus, but overall the Beginning with God series does a good job of introducing kids to reading the Bible with repentance and faith in mind. \\r\\n\\r\\nAlso stickers!
