It's the hot topic of the moment. Christians, the church and the Bible seem to be out of step with modern attitudes towards homosexuality. And there is growing hostility towards those who hold a different view. So is God homophobic? And what do we say, and how do we relate to to both Christians and non Christians who experience same-sex attraction.
In this short, simple book, Sam Allberry wants to help confused Christians understand what God has said about these questions in the scriptures, and offers a positive and liberating way forward through the debate.
Empathetic and wise, learned and clear, hopeful and kind--this book by Sam Allberry is on a topic that can be very challenging. It would be helpful for just about anyone to read. - Mark Dever, Pastor, Capitol Hill Baptist Church
Truly marvellous. Sam writes from the perspective of a pastor who himself struggles with same sex attraction. This makes the book more compassionate and compelling. Sam's humanity shines through every page; his understanding of weakness undergirds the whole; his compassion for those facing that which he himself faces each day is deeply moving. This book would make an excellent resource for pastors and elders to keep on hand, given that this is an issue which is set to become more, not less, significant and contentious. - Carl R. Trueman, Reformation21 blog
Practical and sensitive exploration of the Bible's teaching on homosexuality.

This book is very informative and helps to understand people who struggle with homosexuality. Sam helped bring to perpesctive what the bible says about this """"hot topic"""" that we face. It is written in truth and with compassion. It's also written simply with no jargons. No bible bashing. Highly recommend!

Succinct and Helpful
This small book discusses the topic in a truthful and understanding tone. It contains some common questions and answers at the end of each chapter. There was only one or two additional questions that I would have liked discussed but the rest are good. The author shares his own personal experience, which for some will make the book even more valid. I highly recommend this for personal reading and also to give to others who may be questioning the topic.

A MUST READ
Recommended for everyone, both Christians and non-Christians! With the author sharing his experiences in struggling with homosexual attraction as a Christian and the prejudices and support he experienced because of this, it was a very informative and credible read. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nUltimately very helpful for understanding BOTH the Christian and non-Christian perspective, and how God works through this, because He shows His love and salvation to everyone!!! \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nWhen I read the title the burning question stuck with me, although I had vaguely formed my own assumptions. But this short read revealed so much to me that I had never even considered in around 100 short pages. Recommended for all adults and young teens (mature 11 or 12 year olds and older). PLEASE take the time to read this, and share it with friends and family, it's also very cheap~ :)

Great Introduction to an Important Topic
This book really is a must-read for anyone who wants to know what the Bible really teaches about homosexuality. Sam Allberry (the author) is a pastor who himself struggles with same-sex attraction, and he handles this topic with compassion, grace, and understanding. This is a breath of fresh air. \\r\\n\\r\\nIt's a short read, which makes it a great book to lend give away, and is also a really helpful resource to read with someone as a conversation-starter. Sam not only addresses what the Bible does (and doesn't) say on this topic, but also gives great practical advice and pastoral wisdom from his own experience. \\r\\n\\r\\nCouldn't recommend this book more highly.
