Here we have a small commentary that I highly recommend you do not ignore. It is small commentary but it packs a punch, Firth has done an exceptional job with this commentary right from the introduction that makes this book sing with importance and helps us consider how we might live in our own world that is not all that dissimilar from Esther’s. This commentary is a great example of theology that isn’t just knowledge but begs us to be changed by what we read in Scripture.
