A Must Read by Every Seminarian and Pastor

This very important and helpful book by Aubrey Malphurs shows pastors and church leaders how they can lead and shepherd their local churches by focusing on and developing four foundational ministry concepts - values, mission, vision and strategy. Values clarify what the local church cherishes. Mission articulates why it exists. Vision paints a picture of what the church would like to bebecome. Strategy enables the church to pursue its mission and realize its vision based on the values it cherishes. This book also contains case studies of churches which have put these ministry concepts into practice. This book ought to be prescribed for every seminary class on pastoral theology and also read and discussed by the leadership team of every local church. Highly recommended!
