Kara Tippetts knows the ordinary days of mothering four kids, the joy of watching her children grow ... and the devestating reality of stage-four cancer. In *The Hardest Peace*, Kara doesn't offer answers for when living is hard, but she asks us to join her in moving away from fear and control and toward peace and grace. Most of all, she draws us back to the God who is with us, in the mundane and the suffering, and who shapes even our pain into beauty.

    Powerful

This is an amazingly encouraging and helpful book. I expected it to be sad and it is as Kara shares her life and final journey of cancer but it is so very encouraging. Kara is very gifted in sharing truth. This book isn't necessarily only for those walking with someone with someone who knows that they are dying, it is a book for everyone to read. It gives encouragement for living life fully. It give great marriage and parenting advice too. Kara shares God's word along with what she has learnt. A beautiful testimony to God's love

    Kara's Courage

This is the most amazing book, a true romance, and story of love, loss, courage and faith, and of a mother's great love for her children. \\r\\nKara's story shows how our great Savior is reflected in her love of life, and family. I love how Kara and her husband are one in Christ, and this book would inspire any single person to wait for God's chosen partner in their life. \\r\\nA must read!

Heart wrenching but saturated with God's grace, hope and peace.

Wow! What a special story. Heart wrenching and incredibly sad, and yet it leaves you with a beautiful awareness of the hope, joy and peace we have in Christ regardless of our circumstances. This is not an easy read as the harsh reality of stage IV cancer to a young mum is devastating and yet I read this within a few days (through many tears) because it is so beautifully written. \\r\\nKara Tippetts speaks with raw honesty. She does not shy away from the huge issues and pain she is dealing with. She wants to live the life she's got left the best she can and prepare her family as best she can for when she's no longer with them. Despite the hardship she is going through, every page is saturated with the grace of God and how he meets her needs with love and beauty every single day. \\r\\nThis book left a powerful imprint on my life. It has helped me consider what is truly important, and how to really love. It has encouraged me to see that even through incredibly tragic circumstances, peace and joy is still possible when we cling ever so tightly to Jesus who will always provide everything we truly need no matter what.

    Inspirational and beautiful

I am thankful for her life and thankful that she stepped out of the boat to share her storyfaith journey so openly, vulnerably and beautifully - sharing her revelation of Him in the midst of hard. \\r\\n\\r\\nIt is a blessing indeed to be able to catch a glimpse into her beautiful heart - knowing ultimately that it is only because of Him, of His grace that we are who we are - and that His grace is sufficient. Even in the face of death, there was no ounce of bitterness in her heart. She was giving all glory to God, our Father. \\r\\n
