101 Devotions For His Princesses (Holly & Hope Series)

This is a small pocket sized book with amazingly beautiful and cute pictures that would appeal to any girl, as per the front cover. The Bible verses on each page are great too. In terms of the fruitfulness of the author's comments also on the page, I found them too harsh. There was a lot of Don't do this and make sure you do this. I'm raising my child up in a Grace-Filled-Jesus-way and this book made me cringe as it felt like the law, rules. I was expecting more of an encouraging approach to our children, and I didn't find that at all in this book. I have a different approach than the author has and I just couldn't continue reading this book for my child. Like I said, the pictures are really cute, so we'll be keeping it as a picture book!
