Great book to understand the steadfast love of God
This is a much needed book in our world today where love is based on feeling, which is feeble. A lot of marriages crumble because of this. In this book, we learn that love is not just a feeling, but also commitment. Paul Miller has done a great job in expounding the truth about the steadfast love of God (Hebrew: hesed) from the book of Ruth. This book is especially relevant for marriage couples and I greatly recommend this book if you want to learn what it means to love others with the steadfast love of God.

The great commandment in Ruth
I really enjoyed this book - maybe because I just love anything to do with the Book of Ruth. Maybe because I grew so much from Paul Miller's Praying Life. And maybe because I needed to be gently challenged to see how my love for God and people has ebbed, and needs to be nurtured and grown. A wonderful book, that nurtured my heart and pushed me out towards others in love. A real treasures in his understanding of the story of Ruth. If one was to do a study on love or the Book of Ruth, I'd recommend you get this.
