This was the best """"singleness"""" book I read during my season of singleness. This is because Kendall excellently shapes her statements and encouragements around the Word rather than inserting Bible verses wherever it is helpful in supporting the points she makes. She biblically focuses your attention on Godly attributes to look out for in a Godly man and sharply contrasts this to worldly men and explains why they are always the wrong decision. I love that she doesn't focus entirely on men, but instead encourages readers to look to the cross and reflect on their own character traits, attitudes and decisions. \\r\\nDo not skip the discussion questions! They are as helpful as the text.

I read this book when I am in a difficult time after a break up from my long relationship. This book presents so many examples and traits that is crucial in a relationship. Through this book I have developed my own set of the qualities that I look for in a man and I am reminded not to lower my standard simply because I think this is time for me to get married. There are some true stories in this book that is so inspiring - and some that might bring tears to your eyes. \\r\\n\\r\\nDon't get into a relationship before you read this!
