A Passion Denied (#03 in The Daughters Of Boston Series)

What an great read by an incredible author. Julie Lessman always fills a novel with passion and faith, and this one was no exception. This novel tore at my heart to the point that I was emotionally-spent after reading. If you are looking for a novel filled with meaningful lessons and depth, then this is the book for you! It was so interesting with dramatic twists and turns that I was not anticipating. This book has such substance, and the characters. . . they are amazing! I fell straight in love with all of them! They are real people, with flawed sides as well. I don't usually enjoy books where characters have flaws. I guess I like perfect characters in novels, but even though some of the characters were flawed, you can't help but love them, you can't help but cry with them and cheer for them. Lessman has brought out the beauty in humanity, but also the weaknesses. It's great that for all of our imperfections, we have a perfect God. His Grace is sufficient for us and His power is made perfect in our weaknesses! It was also great to see old characters and their stories as well. I would recommend this to adults, as I think it would be better suited for adults than teenagers due to the depth and some content. \\r\\nOverall, great conclusion to the series! Looking forward to the next series in the O'Connor family.
