Upon her grandmother's death, Izzy Fontaine finds herself in possession of a Wild Goose Chase pattern quilt that supposedly leads to a great treasure.

Of course, once the rest of the family finds out about the "treasure map," they're determined to have a go at the treasure themselves. And, if that weren't enough, Max Logan, a local museum curator, contacts Izzy and says that Grandma Isabella promised *him* the quilt.

What is it about this quilt that makes everyone want it? Is Izzy on a wild goose chase of her own, or a journey that will lead her to the treasure her grandmother intended?

    Great Christmas read

What a great story. It had everything I want in a story - humour, intrigue, romance, faith, and I couldn't put it down. Jennifer Allee is a new author for me, and this is the first book I've read in the Quilts of Love Series. I will definitely be looking out for more from now on. \\r\\nThe deathbed gift of a quilt sends Izzy on a wild goose chase that lands her straight into the arms of Max, the local museum curator, who also wants the quilt. A fun, light escape from the busy realities of the Christmas season.

    Uplifting reading

I have to say I loved this book. I can relate to the death of a love one at present and at one stage I was reading this while attending the cricket (in the breaks) and said I have to stop reading books they make me cry. There was a section about Christmas that touched me as I could identify with the situation and it brought tears. This also is the mark of a good author who can create emotions in a reader. Izzy was a carer for her grandmother and they had a close relationship, after she passes away Izzy receives a gift of a quilt that her grandmother hopes will bring the family together. Max thought the quilt was his and lets Izzy know he thinks its his. Learning the secrets of the quilt and what it means has much more value than some would think. Lovely book and a great book to read for Christmas.
