In this book Qureshi examines the concept of jihad, comparing different conceptions of it (sharia, peaceful jihad, etc. ) and evaluating them against the teachings of the Quran. He also compares jihad with instances of violence in Bible history (e. g. Canaanite conquest) and Church history (e. g. Crusades). This book is highly accessible, written in several short chapters each dealing with a particular question. Helpful reading for those who want to better understand this concept.

God-given answer to jihad
This is an excellent book. It's easy to read and is not academic or lengthy. In the book the writer Qureshi sought to answer questions about jihad. He did it with God-given wisdom and tact, His attitude was not antagonistic and he answered the many questions raised in a calm and logical way. He clarified some misunderstanding about some terms used like sharia and Allah. As a former Muslim he understood the teachings of Islam very well and gave a Christian response to the questions raised. I was encouraged by his words that 'it's worth sacrificing one's life to follow the true God. ' His conclusion that Christians should 'engage Muslims proactively with love and friendship' is certainly a better way forward for us\\r\\nAnyone who wants to understand jihad better would do well to read this book which Qureshi has left as a legacy to us. \\r\\n

Brilliant mind
Nabeel is a phenomenal apologist in the realm of islam. . highly intelligent individual aligned with ravi zachiarias ministries. This is one of the best ways to gracefully reach out in love to a Muslim brother. we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood. Highly acclaimed in my eyes. Has brilliant videos on youtube etc brilliant books. i would highly suggest individuals get a greater understanding of other faiths such as islam and how they are different theologically trinity, diety of Jesus etc VERY beneficial.

Compassionate Concise.
In his latest book, Answering Jihad, ex-muslim Nabeel Qureshi manages to offer insight into a number of common queries regarding what is viewed by many to be a rather controversial topic. Within each chapter the author succeeds in equipping the reader with a more concise knowledge of jihad and the role it plays, not only within the history of Islam yet also to the average Muslim. Nabeel effectively tackles tough questions with both compassion and integrity and provides sound references within his answers. A brilliant follow up from his award winning novel Seeking Allah Finding Jesus.
