Jennie has a way of pushing us as readers beyond what we think we are capable of. I felt challenged and inspired by her stories and felt a call from God to go beyond my comfort zone to serve him in anything!

Inspirational
Anything is one of my favourite books as it shows what God can do if you surrender everything, and mean it. This is Jennie's story, and in telling it, she invites the reader to join her on the journey. This is not a prescriptive book, in that each reader's story will be different, but rather a down to earth, heart to heart kind of a book that leaves the reader wondering what could happen in their own life if they truly surrender. Jennie now leads a movement which asks the question """"If God is real, what does this mean for my life?"""". The results are truly amazing!

Once I started reading this book I could not put it down. It spoke to me of the things I believe God was already speaking to me about.

Deceptively insightful
I'll be perfectly honest, when I picked this book up last year in store and read the blurb I was a little bit concerned that this would be a book that oversimplified the feelings I've had with surrendering all to God. However I was pleasantly surprised. This book does outline issues, feelings and concerns about surrendering to God in a simple manner, but not in an overly-simplistic or patronising way. \\r\\nThe author bravely discusses that as a child God felt a 'little plastic' and static, and it wasn't until adulthood that she truly understood the love of God. I call her brave because admitting to such a feeling can sometimes be considered rather taboo in some Christian circles, but in doing so she also calls to the hearts of the readers that may not say out loud that they too have felt, or even feel, this way (at least I know it did for me!). \\r\\nWhat I love about this book most of all is that it outlines simple truths and the very real fears people have about abandoning it all to God, but also encourages hope and faith. Life circumstances meant that I wasn't able to read it all in one go, but I'm truly glad I have finished it as the sentiments written have been an amazing encouragement to me.
