Breathing, I Pray is an exploration of the practice and power of prayer. Using examples from his own life, Ivan Mann acknowledges how difficult prayer can be, and offers encouragement to persevere. He includes chapters on some of the better known ways of praying such as Lectio Divina and the Jesus Prayer, as well as exploring poetry and music, human relationship, scripture, the role of imagination and creativity and the place of silence as all means by which God speaks to us.
