C.S. Lewis was a remarkable man. Becoming a Christian seemingly almost against his will, he once described himself as England's most reluctant convert. Yet he went on to become one of the seminal thinkers of the twentieth century, with an influence almost unparalleled in his generation. A prolific writer, broadcaster and academic, his books have found their way into homes all around the world, and his works are enjoyed by young and old alike. While his writings show a deep familiarity with the Scriptures, many people feel that he was inconsistent. Join Andrew Wheeler in this engaging, balanced overview of the writings of C.S. Lewis. 144 pages, from DayOne Publications.

    A Good Correction Of Doctrine

This is a good book for discussing the accuracy and inaccuracy of doctrine in C. S. Lewis' work. It must be hard being in the public eye where every statement one makes is scrutinized and even the great and righteous can get it wrong sometimes, and sometimes that is public. The font is a reasonable size, and is full of direct quotes from Lewis and is organised well. There is also a complete list of everything he wrote which is good for collectors. I'd recommend this as a reference for someone who wants to talk Lewis and Jesus with authority.
