Allow me to be frank. While browing for a gift for my friend who is a cat lover, i stumbled on this book. Personally, i am a dog lover. But after reading this book on cats, i find that the author has done a fine job in bringing out the personality, playfulness, and humanness in cats as loyal furry companions. A unique book for any cat lover, as it helps you to understand your cat in a deeper way- how they behave and why they do so. I have always thought cats were too proud and independent. But the pages of this book have revealed a different side of cats for me, and how perhaps cats too, like dogs, long to be part of the family!
