Son loves it
My son who doesnt read out that well loves it. Cecil (and the other characters) become recurring characters. Some of the sentences are repetitive which helps with reading.

What a Good Shepherd!
When Cecil wanders off (perhaps pursuing a singing career), he gets stuck. Will the shepherd be angry? Cecil learns that God rejoices more over sheep who know they've wandered off and need to come home, than over 'good' sheep who think they never wander away.
This retelling of Jesus' classic parable of the Good Shepherd will engage kiddos and young readers.

A Favorite
My 3 year old son loves this book. He has memorised the story. It's an amusing version of the story of Lost Sheep. Love it and so do my kids. Love the humour of the Lost Sheep Series.
