This is a clear and easy to follow presentation of the difficult and trying doctrine of election. Sproul does a marvelous job to address the topic in his winsome conversational and instructional style. While many Christians either avoid many of the passages in the bible that speak on this issue or they try to hold election / predestination alongside human freedom without trying to reconcile the difficulties. Sproul does not back-off from the challenge and guides the reader through a logical unfolding of the issues. There is a great section on the discussion on how to understand """"human freedom"""". He further explains how regeneration """"spiritual birth"""" relates to faith. It really is a must read for all contemporary Christians.
