History-filled story of grace, forgiveness and love
This book had me captivated from the first chapter as I was instantly transported back to medieval Scotland with its lairds, ladies, knights and knaves. A beautiful story of grace, healing, forgiveness and honour. I love the journey the characters go on from pain-filled hate to love - and all the history woven through its pages. Beautiful. \\r\\n

Scottish Love, War and Triumphs
Essentially this is a love story between two strong willed and honourable people from opposite sides of a bloodthirsty battle for leadership and power. Carol Umberger skilfully immerses the reader into the history of Medieval Scotland complete with its conflicting attitudes, embracing both superstitions and reliance on the church. When Gwenyth and Adam become 'hand fast' tensions arise as they try to keep their relationship chaste despite the growing attraction each has for the other. Circle of Honor is full of political intrigue, love and jealousy, power and honour. I enjoyed it from cover to cover.
