    This was a beautiful story. Although a full size book it felt like I was reading a novella I am not sure why maybe things just moved really quickly from when the children were 3 right through till when they were 18 was covered. The characters may have lacked a little depth due to it moving so quick. In saying that I thought it was a gorgeous story that clearly showed the parallels for God's love for us and wanting to give us everything and us turning our backs on him.
