CSB Scripture Notebook 1-3 John

A great minimal presentation of the text in a comfortable large font. Between the 1 page of ruled lines for every page of text and the inch-wide margins, there's plenty of note taking space and the ruled lines are small enough as to comfortably fit sufficient space for some relatively detailed notes on the corresponding passage. The paper is a gentle off-white colour and bleed-through is minimal with a regular black pen, a fact aided by the comfortable font. The text pages consist of the text itself (including verse/chapter numbers and headings), page numbers, and an indication of the chapter the page begins in. There's ample room in the text for underlining and basic markings and there is also generous room at the bottom of each page for additional notes. \\n\\nThe cover is a cheap cardstock, but that it's inexpensive removes my qualms about making permanent notes in a Bible (or a section of the Bible). That said, it surprisingly features a Smyth-sewn signature binding, which means there's little chance of random pages falling out with use. \\n\\nThe one downside is that the CSB Scripture Notebook set all sell for the same price, so you're spending as much on this tiny thing (32 pages) as you would on on the Acts journal (160 pages). \\n\\nIn short, a quality, readable presentation, generous space for notes, and a suitable choice of paper to prevent issues that could have arisen in this sort of journal. As long as you know what you're buying, you'll probably be satisfied…
