Dadless, But Not Fatherless

Growing up I had a mindset of inferiority and a feeling of being average at best. I have come a long way and I am still on the path of restoration, wholeness and overcoming. I always saw myself as being far less important, confident and successful than everybody else around me; and it showed in my performance in day to day experiences and interactions, social life and work life circles. When I look back over my life and see how far I have travelled and where I have come, I can only attribute my successes and growth to Father God along with other people He has placed in my path to sharpen and shape me into being a better person, a better man, a better husband and dad. Through life I have realised that no person can truly live independently. We all need a life saving hand at some point. Through my faith in Jesus and in God's life-transforming word, I am a new man with renewed hope, purpose, peace and power. With God's Holy Spirit I truly am a new creation, and so you can be too.
