Disciplines of a Godly Woman

This book is so concise in teaching of the various disciplines, which really helps one think about how they could apply it to their own lives (and I might need to read it again, it's so rich!). I really loved how Barbara always brought it back to scripture, justifying all these attributes through God's word and her own experiences provided much encouragement for my own walk. This is for every woman out there, honestly, it covered things I had never considered and although all might not be as applicable at 'x' stage of life, it is still relevant that we do cover it and reflect/or think of future arrangements regarding the discipline at hand.

This book has been fantastic at challenging me to really think about how God wants me to live and actively seek to do things His way - the best way! Every chapter convicted me of something I needed God to help me change. \\r\\n\\r\\nI think every woman, young or old, should read this book! It is so useful, practical, and filled with Scripture.

This book not only covers day-to-day areas that require godly discipline, but provides a helpful balance of biblical examples truths and practical application points. I was especially challenged by the application questions at the end of each chapter which encouraged close examination of my own life. It is a thorough book that every woman should read.
