Since when has being feminine been taboo? Recent trends in image definition have done more harm than good to how women perceive themselves and their roles in society.

Through her conferences around the world, Lisa Bevere has spoken to millions of women and girls on what the true power of being a woman is. Often touching on real topics such as submission, sexual power, and parenting roles, Lisa has become a trusted resource for women seeking guidance on issues they seldom feel able to discuss on their own. With a fresh, empowering perspective, Lisa explains:

\*When women lost sight of God's unique plan for them
\*What it looks like to fight like a girl
\*What strengths only women have
\*How to reclaim the power in being a woman
\*How to use your strengths to fulfil your role in your community, your workplace, your home, and your church
\*How to set a new standard for future generations of women.

Helping to restore women's confidence and esteem, improve their relationships, and grow their faith are all part of Lisa's main mission: to help women learn to fight like girls again and celebrate their victories!

Today's twisted pictures of gender roles create confusion over how a woman should define herself. Women and men are encouraged to move closer to center and away from the traits that distinguish male from female. How can women feel good about themselves when society is constantly dictating what they can and should be? In FIGHT LIKE A GIRL, Lisa Bevere exhorts us to embrace the differences between sexes. Her goal is to encourage women to celebrate the unique aspects of femininity. Instead of trying to adopt ill-fitting character traits, women should see themselves as designed and valued by God and savor their femininity as their strength, not a flaw. ?

Great book. Easy to read and enjoyable. Highly recommend for all girls, especially younger ones walking into womanhood and learning discernment and how to choose their battles wisely.
