Christians throughout the centuries have struggled to understand the relationship between God's law and His grace. Sadly, many have inadvertently neglected either the law and fallen into antinomianism or they have neglected grace and run amuck into legalism. God's Grace Shining through Law will help Christians young or old to navigate through these two errors and live in joyful obedience to the Word of God. May this volume be both a warning signal and a welcome sign, challenging each of us to examine our standing before a holy God and encouraging our hearts to rest in the grace of God that is ours in the gospel. Echos of 'The Grace of Law""""

This is a collection of essays presented at the annual Puritan Reformed Seminary Conference (2020) on various aspects of the Law of God. Essays are arranged under three broad headings covering historical, experiential and practical dimensions of the law of God in the Christian life. This is a much neglected theme in most evangelical churches today. In former years churches would have a seperate section in their statements of faith on the subject, not so today (see WCF, Savoy, 2nd London Confession). Today most churches have adopted an antinomian stance on the law of God for the Church Age. It is rarely preached on in modern pulpits probably due to the influence of dispensationalism. Highly recommend these addresses. Those interested in more to consult Ernest E. Kevan's 'The Grace of Law'.
