Though it's been years since his wife died, Ned Stevens still cringes at the thought of dating. After all, why would he start seeing other women when he has to look out for his daughter Liz? However, when Liz brings home a surprise guest from college, Ned is thrown for a loop. Can Ned accept that his little girl has fallen in love with David, a practically perfect know-it-all who drives Ned crazy, and will Liz succeed in diverting her dad's attention from sabotaging her relationship to succumbing to the charms of Carol, the single woman Ned sees jogging every morning?

Together, Liz and David teach Ned that with love, there are always second chances. This Christian romantic comedy will lift your spirits with its lighthearted tale of growing up, letting go, and opening your heart to the idea of making a fresh start.

    Ok Movie

At first you think why is this man talking to a women no one else can see? His wife died many years ago and he can't let her go nor can he say goodbye to her so she continues to appear to him and he talks to her like a crazy guy! This is not reality, this kind of thing doesn't happen it can't, everyone knows once you die you don't see the persons soul anymore, the souls needs to go to the next life wheather it be Purgatory, Heaven or God forbid Hell.

    Ok Movie

This movie doesn't have much Faith and Christian messages it lacked it and i wouldn't watch it again sorry to say the story was ok, it was a bit funny at times as Ned the main character does some silly things to stop his daughter from seeing her boyfriend. Not much else to say it wasn't good but it wasn't that bad we saw it for free.

    Humorous Watch

This movie is about letting go and moving on. Ned needs to let go of his deceased wife of 3 years and he needs to trust his daughter's judgment and let her go too. Ned meets his daughter's boyfriend and tries to find things wrong with him it's funny and interesting. This doesn't have much religion in it but I guess the main message is putting your trust in God in all aspects of your life and know that this isn't our home as Heaven is Waiting for us if we are worthy.

    dangerous

If I had known this is a Mormon DVD, I would not have bought it. With the modern idea that truth is different for each of us, the ideas portrayed in this film actually contradict the scriptures and reinforce that lie. Kate, although dead, hangs around until dismissed by her husband. """"Heaven pales in comparison to this life. """" What blasphemy. The God who created and sustains the universe will enthral us for eternity! Even on earth, we are to love HIM with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. There is NO WAY we would prefer our life on earth, and hang around trying to force our husband to remarry so he can live happily ever after, once we are dead. \\r\\nThe Almighty God who is immortal, is reduced in this DVD to the god of Mormons who was a man but got a promotion. My copy is now in the trash. Not at all recommended - spend your time and money on something Christian.

    Love-ly comedy

Heaven is waiting was suprisingly funny, I just assumed it would be a love story but the main character in the movie is quite a character. Humourous watch :)
