    Essential Fiction Reading

Fabulous literary novel. \\r\\nThis novel contains many twists and turns which are unpredictable. \\r\\nThis ultimately causes are truly interesting novel that was quite refreshing from the cookie cut normal fiction romance. \\r\\nI rate this novel a 55 and would highly recommend as a gift or for yourself.

    Wonderful Escape!

This novel had great character development. Some of the Chrisitan Fiction I've read recently has been overly predictable but this plot, laden with a few twists, kept me guessing till the end. Lynn Austin swept me back to the 1930s with the romantic beauty of life on an orchard - but grounded me with a hit of reality as hidden secrets surfaced through the plot. Loved it.

    An uplifting read

I loved this book!\\r\\nIt's the story of a young widow, and her 3 children, who find unexpected friendship and romance in the midst of hardship. It's set in rural America, a hundred or so years ago. \\r\\nThe characters are beautifully realised; people you'd like to meet yourself. I especially liked Aunt Batty, the old woman who becomes Eliza's dearest friend. \\r\\nThere's also a mystery running throughout; who is the mysterious drifter, and what did he have to do with Eliza's late husband?\\r\\nThis is a book I could easily read again. Highly recommended.
