This beautifully written & very accessible short book explores the benefits of seeking God's will in relation to your future life partner within the context of one couple's separate & often painful journey towards each other. As believers, we look to God's Word for His revealed will but the process of surrendering all areas of our life to the direction of the Holy Spirit is not always an easy one, particularly when it comes to relationships. Sarah & Enoch share the lessons they learned during a very lengthy waiting period where they each experienced false starts, disappointments & sometimes despair. But they argue that the waiting allowed God to teach them valuable lessons to better prepare them for marriage including the importance of making God your first love & being content with the present. But the book also explores the mystery of God's covenant with His bride, the Church, and draws parallels between traditional Jewish marriage practices & the return of Yeshua (Jesus) to claim His bride in End Times. The book therefore touches on some aspects of the Jewishness of Jesus & His teachings in a way which is helpful, especially for those with no prior knowledge of these concepts. But it also contains insights for those from a more Messianic background. Highly recommended for all believers, single or married.
