This is a well done dual timeline novel. I liked the generational family relationship dynamics. Both learning from the other a bit. Confession of sin and change in direction are themes throughout. I didn't feel this was the standard light-hearted romance, there are some heavy subjects, however most characters allowed God to work in their lives and saw the good He had planned.
