This is more than a verse by verse exposition, as Richard Phillips brings much content from other parts of Scripture into his book. \\nAt times I thought he may have been """"stretching"""" the application of the text, particularly in Jonah. Nevertheless, the good in this book far outweighs any negative. \\nTheologically sound, with many strong and helpful comments- well worth reading. Particularly enjoyed Micah. \\n\\n
