Andrea Henderson moves to Moses Lake after what she thinks was the worst year of her life. Working as a social worker in a remote and poverty stricken region of Texas, she realises how much she has to be thankful for. And in trying to help these people, she realises she has value, purpose and hope. Along comes game warden Mart McClendon, and there is instant friction. Andrea isn't looking for romance, and they don't even like each other. Andrea's adventures continue as she grows closer to God and Mart, and it all makes for a great read, other than the name Mart - who names a hero Mart? I read it as Matt each time, a much better romantic hero name, I think! Apart from that, I'll be reading more in the series, and more from this author.
