Why this study on Life in the Spirit? The answer is simple. When we look at Paul's writings, or indeed any NT writings, we see frequent reference to the Spirit, especially his relationship with his people. Undoubtedly the primary NT focus is Christ and the gospel, but because of this very fact, the Spirit features prominently because the Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of the New Covenant. Accordingly, this series of studies on Life in the Spirit is offered in the hope that readers will be encouraged to enter more fully into the glorious life of Christ that is available by the Spirit.
