I really loved this book! I usually like reading books that have a less modern setting, but as usual Carolyn Miller captured my attention and imagination and I got lost in the book. I couldn’t put it down, and there were a few nights I stayed up late reading!
Lexi and Jackson had interesting backstories, and I love how they got to know each other and fall in love in the midst of struggles and challenges. The description of the beautiful rolling hills on the Reilly farm made we want to go see it for myself!
I personally loved how centered they were in Christ, and how Jackson prayed with Lexi and encouraged her in Christ, and how Lexi encouraged Jackson and reminded him of God’s promises and how we can trust God with everything, especially when things are falling apart and spinning out of control.
This is the first book of the series that I’ve read, I’m going to have to go back and check out the other ones!
