Matthew (Understanding The Bible Commentary Series)

This is a commentary and is fairly put under the academic section, but as the series promises, it's geared toward ordinary, literate, adult but non-academic Christians, i. e. not Bible college students or anything. Mounce writes clearly and the commentary is well set out, but occasionally it left me thinking the notes hadn't added much to what was clear in the verse to begin with.

This commentary is easy to read , more for the average church goer . Not a theological heavy study. \\r\\nI found that the chapters were easy to read, full of interesting information. It is very well set out for reference. The headings outline the content so very easy to find a particular section or verse. \\r\\n\\r\\nI have trouble with small fonts but found the font easy to read . I would say about a 10 or 11 size font. \\r\\n\\r\\nRecommend for lighter read\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n
