Mindful Ministry

Christian ministry requires a wide range of skills as well as the ability to reflect theologically. Core Skills for Christian Ministry links the skills required by clergy in their day-to-day ministry of being and doing with active reflection on what it means to be a reflective practitioner.  
Part 1 considers how clergy and those who work with them can explore the skills required, while Part 2 focuses on identifying, considering and acquiring the necessary skills. The authors consider among others caring, praying skills, guiding, organizing and liberating as well as the skills of weakness.  
Core Skills for Christian Ministry is written by two experienced priests and teachers of Christian ministry who combine their experience with modelling good practice in theological reflection.Read less
