    Beautiful Story

I really enjoyed this book. The chemistry between Zach and Abigail was just delightful. It was definitely swoon worthy with Zach being the protector of his family and his love and respect for his wife. I loved Abigails character with her tough and feisty presence but yet her vulnerability and insecurities about her appearance. I loved the take away message I got, that no matter what comes we can and should trust God. A beautiful story.

    Charming

Abigail's been running the Taste of Heaven bakery for more than a year since her father took ill and passed away. How horrid to pull out an old ordinance in a sly way to take Abigail's legacy. Her only choice is to find a husband so that the deed of the building is in a man's name. She has few options amongst the single men; a Church Deacon. Clarence who showed a biddable and solicitousness character but had a Mother who would not approve. Then there was Zacharias Hamilton - two sticky buns and black coffee. \\r\\nCan she present her business proposal and save her bakery?\\r\\nSome very funny moments in another great story by Karen Witemeyer\\r\\n

    Beautiful

I absolutely loved this story which tells Zach Hamilton's continuing journey now that he is no longer responsible for his younger siblings. We first meet Zach in the first book in the series, More Than Meets the Eye. I love the fierce loyalty to family that both Zach and Abby live out. I love the way Karen has woven this story around the values of truth, integrity, forgiveness and not keeping secrets. Powerful lessons are learnt. The story inspires a deep trust in God even when doing so looks impossible.

Best novel I've read all year!

By far the best book I've read in a long time, which is saying a lot given how many amazing authors are releasing books these days! I fell in love with the two main characters from the first page and couldn't get enough of their relationship and the hilarious ways they tried to out-love each other. Marriage of Convenience stories are always interesting but I've never seen one done like this before, where both the husband and wife are trying to make the other one fall in love with them. Loved their spunk, their courage, the friends and family who wouldn't keep their noses out of it and the incredible ways they grew through it. Alongside the laughs though (of which there were a lot!), there was such a depth to the story - the real struggles both the two main characters and their families worked through, the wondering where God was in the midst of them and what grace, forgiveness and worth really mean. Such an incredible, beautiful, hilarious, faith-filled, captivating story and one I can't wait to read again. And again. And again.
