Never Find Another You (#01 in Trinity Lakes Romance Series)

Enjoy the quiet beginning because when this story gets going it really starts hopping, and you’ll not be doing whatever it is you were supposed to be doing because you’ll be reading all the way to the end!

By the end of chapter one, both main characters had a niggling feeling that the other person was familiar for some reason. That was a great hook for me, and I kept reading just to find out why they both thought the other looked familiar.

The relationship builds with some sweet romantic scenes in the first half, and I kept thinking, ‘Ah, this will be the main conflict the couple faces. ’ But every time I thought I had it figured out, Narelle would throw something else in, taking the plot somewhere I didn’t even see.

The last half of the book was my favourite as Narelle took all the threads she’d been weaving and pulled them together into something fast passed and very interesting, even challenging about how we relate to and deal with pressures within families and between couples.

I noticed at least one character from a book later in the series (Leah from I’ll Always Choose You). It wasn’t until I read the promo snippet at the end that I released Narelle had actually included a scene that is important to the next story. No, I don’t think you need to read this one to understand book 2, but I did enjoy seeing how deftly Narelle included the scene without making it feel forced.

I enjoyed the first book of the Trinity Lakes Series. We are introduced to Trinity Lakes which is a character on its own. Also, to Hannah and Joel. Hannah is the manager of the Rowing club and hires Joel an Australian tiler who is working in the USA for a year. We also meet other members of the community including Becky and Gracie. Becky is Hannah's sister and Gracie is her grandmother. We also meet other characters who will have their own stories in the coming months. \\n\\nFor those who have read Narelle's previous books you will notice a couple from Seaside Proposal pop up in the book. \\n\\nThere is also drama with a toxic mother who likes to control her children and all around it is also very accurate showing how a toxic person works and that the issue is them. Joel also has some issues happening with his family at home but totally different from Hannah but at the same time they are similar. There is also a mystery that Hannah is trying to get answers about which I am sure will continue throughout the books. \\n\\nHannah and Joel both enjoy kayaking and we get to see time spend on the lakes and rivers. It helps to see the area and how beautiful the setting is. I also love that when issues come up it isn't a quick fix but they work on it and talk things out. \\n\\nI found the book flowed well and I didn't want to put it down. I also really want to read the stories of some of the other characters and I would love to see Grandma Gracie get her own story. (I am not sure that…
