Much better than expected
After reading Mary Connealy's Sophie's Daughters series I almost didn't want to read this book. But I am so glad I did! It was much more enjoyable to read with healthy mutally respectful relationships. I liked how the story included romance, action-filled shoot-outs, mystery and rock climbing! There were also hints as to the budding romances of Sadie's brothers which occupy the next books in the series. I definitely wanted to keep reading the rest of the series! Although the ending is not completely resolved with the reader left still wondering who is behind the attacks against the family and their ranch the two main characters are very much in love and happy! I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to any romance-action lover.
