A Helpful Book Every Pastor Should Read

Every pastor needs to read this book which was written by a pastor who is all too familiar with the stresses and struggles of pastoral ministry to the point of experiencing burnout and wanting to quit. What helped him to survive, learn and grow was the application of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the external pressures he has to face, the difficult people he has to minister to, and his own sins and motivations that he has to wrestle with. Although this book was written primarily for pastors, every lay leader and Christian will certainly benefit from its Gospel-centred approach to the stresses and struggles one faces in ministry. Highly recommended!
