Inspired reading, habit changing
I finally finished it! This book has been on the go for about 5 months and has been deeply thought provoking. What does it mean to Own Your Life in today's day and age? Sally is a woman who's done the missions thing and then settled down to parenting and learning to pour into her children, and to make home a place they want to come back to when they are grown. She talks about living out what you want to instill in them, about developing a community, about owning your marriage and relationships. It's challenged the way I see my home, myself and the way I want this family to look in ten and twenty years time. She looks at what Biblically Owning Your Life looks like when you ultimately belong to someone else. I think I'll be reading this one again!
